Homeschooled from birth, Sharon almost didn’t go to college. What tipped the scales and sent her to Hillsdale College was the chance to study her passion: how to awaken the church before America goes down the path of total cultural annihilation. This led her to work at the Family Research Council, then study apologetics at the seminary level while also getting a master’s degree in education. After a decade of teaching in public school, private school, university, and church settings, Sharon created Olive Tree Learning to reach a new audience: homeschool students, parents, and graduates who want to study history, religion, theology, and the arts through advanced courses that will prepare them to change the climate in the church and ultimately the culture.
